Swimming

This is the beginning of your child’s swimming journey.

During this 30-minute lesson we focus on the basics working with both the parent/guardian and the child to teach techniques and aquatic skills to help your child take their first steps into enjoying swimming.

This class focuses on confidence and gaining the basic ability to move in multiple directions using both arms and legs, building in strength to start removing floatation aids as they progress.

The age this lesson will target is 1 – 4 years and always requires a parent or guardian to be in the water.

Equipment will be supplied.

We begin to refine the swimmers techniques improving on distance and strength of multiple strokes whilst gaining more confidence in water-based skills.

Dolphins are for any child over the age of 4, who have taken part in our previous lessons (Ducklings) or complete beginners who may have never done lessons before.

Dolphins are aimed at children aged 4+

We follow the Swim England Frame work gradually increasing strokes and distances for a steady growth of ability and confidence.

All equipment is supplied.

Assessments can be given if you do not know what ability/ stage your child is working towards.

This is the final push of your child’s swimming journey.

This is our swim club which works towards the final swim England stages in your child’s journey.

During this session we focus on all aspects they have learned during previous stages refining all strokes whilst progressing into a more competition environment for those children who want to progress further into the swimming sport.

The age is for 7+ years.
